1100 PM PDT TUE SEP 25 2012

FOR THE EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC...EAST OF 140 DEGREES WEST LONGITUDE..

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON HURRICANE
MIRIAM...LOCATED ABOUT 430 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF
BAJA CALIFORNIA.

THERE HAS BEEN LITTLE CHANGE WITH AN AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER
LOCATED A FEW HUNDRED MILES SOUTHWEST OF ACAPULCO MEXICO. ANY
DEVELOPMENT OF THIS DISTURBANCE SHOULD BE SLOW TO OCCUR DUE TO
STRONG UPPER-LEVEL WINDS. THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW CHANCE...20
PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS
AS IT MOVES NORTHWESTWARD AT ABOUT 10 MPH.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS.
