LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 21.5 NORTH...LONGITUDE 115.7 WEST.  MIRIAM IS
MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHWEST NEAR 7 MPH...11 KM/H.  A TURN
TOWARD THE NORTHWEST AT A SLOWER FORWARD SPEED IS EXPECTED ON
THURSDAY.  MIRIAM IS THEN FORECAST TO DRIFT WEST-NORTHWESTWARD ON
FRIDAY.
 
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS HAVE DECREASED TO NEAR 45 MPH...75 KM/H...
WITH HIGHER GUSTS.  ADDITIONAL WEAKENING IS FORECAST DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS...AND MIRIAM COULD BECOME A POST-TROPICAL CYCLONE
THURSDAY OR THURSDAY NIGHT.

FROM THE CENTER.

SURF...SWELLS GENERATED BY MIRIAM WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE SOUTH
AND WEST COASTS OF THE SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL BAJA PENINSULA TONIGHT
AND THURSDAY BUT WILL BEGIN TO GRADUALLY SUBSIDE ON FRIDAY. THESE
SWELLS COULD CAUSE LIFE-THREATENING SURF AND RIP CURRENT CONDITIONS.
