LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 22.2 NORTH...LONGITUDE 116.3 WEST. MIRIAM IS
MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST NEAR 6 MPH...9 KM/H.  A GRADUAL TURN
TOWARD THE WEST IS EXPECTED ON FRIDAY WITH A DECREASE IN FORWARD
SPEED.  MIRIAM IS THEN FORECAST TO DRIFT TOWARD THE WEST-SOUTHWEST
FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY.
 
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS HAVE DECREASED TO NEAR 40 MPH...65 KM/H...
WITH HIGHER GUSTS.  FURTHER WEAKENING IS EXPECTED...AND MIRIAM
COULD BECOME A REMNANT LOW TONIGHT OR FRIDAY MORNING.
 
TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 115 MILES...185 KM
FROM THE CENTER.
 
ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1000 MB...29.53 INCHES.
 
 
HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND

SURF...SWELLS GENERATED BY MIRIAM WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE SOUTH
AND WEST COASTS OF THE SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL BAJA PENINSULA TODAY BUT
WILL BEGIN TO GRADUALLY SUBSIDE ON FRIDAY. THESE SWELLS COULD CAUSE
LIFE-THREATENING SURF AND RIP CURRENT CONDITIONS.  PLEASE CONSULT
